Michael Samples serves as the managing partner and qualifying broker of Samples Properties, overseeing the company’s operations with a focus on excellence and integrity. A proud alumnus of Auburn University, Michael graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, specializing in Management.

Michael’s journey with Samples Properties began in 1987, when he quickly became involved in developing, placing, and serving several prestigious office buildings in the Huntsville market. Notable projects include McDonnell Douglas Corporation (1990), Rockwell Corporation (1988), and General Electric (1989). Over the years, Michael has played a key role in developing over 1.5 million square feet of commercial office space in Huntsville.

Michael’s project responsibilities encompass negotiating leases, budgeting, financing, and ownership formation, ensuring the success of each venture. Married to Colleen Samples, Michael is a devoted family man, proud father of three children, and doting grandfather of four grandchildren.

Born and raised in Huntsville, Michael’s roots run deep in the community. His passion for real estate and construction led him to gain valuable insights while working with a local contractor before joining Samples Properties. Over the years, he has progressed from property management to underwriting and development, ultimately acquiring the company in 2010 and assuming the role of qualifying broker and managing member.

With his extensive experience, dedication to excellence, and commitment to the Huntsville community, Michael Samples is a driving force behind Samples Properties’ success and a trusted leader in the industry.
